Maybe not so much of a surprise anymore... Last weekend, most Penangites went a little ga-ga over the grand opening of the first UNIQLO store in Penang.
Me included.
If you don't already know, UNIQLO is a Japanese designer, manufacturer and retailer that offers high-quality casual apparel in line with its new rebranded tagline "LifeWear". To date, UNIQLO has more than 1,100 stores in 13 countries.
It carries a great selection of basic clothing from sweats and hoodies to pants and leggings, jackets and cardigans to dresses and shirts, from innerwear and sleepwear to hats and sunglasses. From men and women to boys and girls.
So of course, I had to take advantage of the opening specials.
